Which countries drink the most wine?

According to The Wine Institute and this infographic by Statista, “the Vatican City and Andorra drink the most wine per capita with 54.26 and 46.26 litres every year. In France, a person drinks about 42.51 litres every year while Italians consume 33.3 litres. Britons are fond of a glass of wine but they are a considerable distance behind, drinking just under 22 litres every year on average.”

Oh, those drunk popes and cardinals. I bet they all get squiffy and sing pope songs and trade hats.

But Canada? Canada doesn’t even make the list. We’re losers.

Seriously, Canada, I’m disappointed in you.

YOU ARE NOT TRYING HARD ENOUGH PEOPLE. AM I SUPPOSED TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF?

OK fine. I will.
