Creepy Halloween mystery: Costume magically changes depending on who wears it

This is spooky. It’s eerie how the exact same Halloween costume suddenly appears much sexier and more revealing when a woman puts it on than when a man wears it.

Take a look at some of these examples of our good sport male and female models trying on the same costume for this year’s Halloween festivities. You’ll quickly notice how the exact same disguise suddenly looks subtly different when the woman wears it. Strange.

We started out with a favourite around our household, Scooby Doo. The cartoon dog was a staple of Saturday mornings in my childhood, and now my son is obsessed with him and the adventures of the Mystery Incorporated gang.

As with all supernatural phenomena caught on camera (see my now widely debunked expose on ghosts), the clues are hard to spot, but you can see them if you look carefully. Under close examination, you’ll notice how the same Scooby Doo costume actually changes form when worn by a woman.

That was weird. So our team of crack investigators tried to see if we could repeat the experiment with a classic Cowboy costume.

Hmmm. I’m getting chills. There certainly seems to be something unnatural happening. We tried another classic, the Lumberjack. Surely this burly outfit wouldn’t be affected by the haunting.

Okay. It happened again. There are definitely forces at work here. Call in the Ghostbusters.

No! Not them too. Okay. Haunted transmogrification is clearly taking place in the Yackler HQ.

How about Chewbacca. He’s a walking carpet. He’s covered in fur. What could go wrong?

Shrek? C’mon, not Shrek.

At this point, our models were planning to walk out. Their contract forbids any supernatural activity.

We convinced them to stay by purchasing some costumes that couldn’t possibly exhibit any spooky (or sexy) activity. Of course, I am referring to Kermit the Frog and Ernie from Sesame Street.

Editor’s note: This article was found incomplete years later after the mysterious disappearance of the author and the models. A pile of unisex Halloween costumes was also found at the scene, but no other clues remained.
